True Blood's Debbie Pelt
Alan Ball has cast the role of Debbie Pelt in season 3 of True Blood. After auditioning a ton of ladies, the role has gone to Brit Morgan who was in The Middleman and a movie called Beer for My Horses.
In the books, Debbie Pelt is described as a psycho bitch who becomes Sookeh's arch rival. Alan said Debbie will be featured more in the TV show than she was in the books.

Snoop Dogg in True Blood cameo?
Snoop Dogg has declared that he would like to appear in hit vampire series True Blood. The rapper, who name-checks the HBO show on new single 'Gangsta Luv', said that he is "down" with the program.
"I love that show. I wish I could be on it. I'd be a hell of a vampire, don't you think?" he told MTV.
Snoop has remained relevant for over 20 years, something not easily done in the entertainment industry.
But the show would need to use him correctly. I'd hate True Blood to show lame cameos every episode. Remember, Lindsay Lohan trying to get a cameo with her vampire twitter pict? Ugh!

"True Blood" Season 2 Finale [Sneak Peek] Preview
Episode #24: “Beyond Here Lies Nothin' ” (season finale)
Debut: SUNDAY, SEPT. 13 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT)
The mayhem in Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch as Maryann (Michelle Forbes) prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie (Anna Paquin) to be maid of honor at the bloody nuptials. Meanwhile, Sophie-Anne (Evan Rachel Wood) warns Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) to keep the lid on Bill's (Stephen Moyer) inquisitiveness; Jason (Ryan Kwanten) leads Andy (Chris Bauer) into the heroic abyss; and Hoyt (Jim Parrack) has a hard time swallowing Maxine's (Dale Raoul) endless stream of insults. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam (Sam Trammell) is forced to put his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally.
My theories on "True Blood" Season 2 Finale Preview
- Looks like Eggs stabs himself
- Eric gets knocked on his back somehow, almost stunned which is unusual given his strength
- Does Bill betray Sam or do they work together? Are Bill & Sam red herrings?
- Will we finally see a FRICKIN' bonfire?!! I've been waiting since the Fellowship FAILED at theirs!

Hottest Male Vampires before Eric, Bill ... and the guy from Twilight, I guess
Gerard Butler - Dracula 2000
The movie is unwatchable, but the same can't be said about Gerard.
Brad Pitt - Interview with the Vampire
Antonio Banderas - Interview with the Vampire
Gary Oldman - Dracula

Chris Sarandon - Fright Night
Stuart Townsend - Queen of the Damned
God Save The Vampire Queen - Evan Rachel Wood in HBO True Blood
Eric Northman as an old black lady
God Save The Vamp Queen - Evan Rachel Wood's Anemic Performance in HBO True Blood
I was not impressed with Evan Rachel Wood portrayal of The Queen and underwhelmed at her character's unveiling on HBO's True Blood. Admittedly, I'm not a fan of hers, but I was hoping she would at least bring some bite to the role. She looked stunning as a vampire, but Wood's performance seemed bland and superficial.
| Fans of hers will say that she was playing coy. I love a character that plays coy to his/her advantage. But Wood's performance lacked scene-stealing power. When the queen mentioned Eisenhower, I didn't get the feeling that she was ever in that era. I don't think the actress has said the word Eisenhower prior to this role. Lorena was a vamp, whom I didn't necessarily like, but commanded a certain presence. Jason has some ridiculous lines but pulls them off. I'm hoping Evan Rachel Wood will bring a bit more seductive provocation in future episodes. She dumped Billy Elliott, stole Marilyn Manson from Dita and then had sex with him in his music video. GROSS!! So she should be able to deliver the drama! |

Which True Blood ManVamp Is Your Pefect Match?
The tiny Louisiana town at the heart of HBO's hot series "True Blood" seems to be suffering from an embarrassment of riches. For such a small hamlet, Bon Temps has a disproportionate number of fine-looking men. Not that we're complaining.
Which is why MTV developed this handy guide to deciding once and for all which Bon Temps man suits you best. We probably don't have to say this but ... enjoy!
Your type is: The southern gentleman. You like a guy who'll open doors, carry your packages and even risk frying in the sun to ensure your safety.
Your perfect match is: Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). You may have to go toe-to-toe with telepath Sookie to win Bill's affections, but an eternity with this chivalrous vamp may well be worth it.
Your type is: The wise, old soul. You crave a man who knows a lot about himself and the world around him.
Your perfect match is: Godric (Allan Hyde). The dearly departed elder vampire had 2,000 years of experience to draw on. It's unfortunate this vast knowledge made him too world-weary to stand the test of time.
Your type is: The brawny, blue-collar worker. You value sex appeal over SAT scores and aren't afraid to admit it.
Your perfect match is: Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). Equally comfortable getting dirty in the field or in the bedroom, Jason's got abs for days and knows how to use them.
Your type is: The do-good loner. What guy needs friends when he's got a great gal like you? This man's more likely to make breakfast in bed than ditch you for the big game. Now if he'd only tell you about his childhood.
Your perfect match is: Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell). Bon Temps' barkeep is always willing to help a friend in need, even if it's to his own detriment. He may disappear from time-to-time, but he'll always return like a loyal lapdog.
Your type is: The fixer-upper. You like a project, so who better than a man with a few skeletons lurking in his closet (perhaps literally).
Your perfect match is: Eggs (Mehcad Brooks, pictured above). Tara's damaged boyfriend is a confirmed murderer and substance abuser—the perfect charity case for your nurturing sensibilities.
Your type is: The bad boy with the big heart. Your guy is like a Tootsie Pop: hard on the outside, but soft and gooey on the inside — once he lets you in, that is.
Your perfect match is: Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård). Season 1 was all about bad-ass Eric, but since the Viking's maker took his own life, we've seen the vulnerable side of the 1,000-year-old vampire — and we like it.
Your type is: The gay BFF. You're looking for a flamboyant fellow to party with at the clubs and tell it like it is when your haircut is just plain fugly.
Your perfect match is: Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis). He's got attitude to spare, but Lafayette is fiercely loyal to those he cares about.
So, which "True Blood" hottie is your type?
Will you try it? TruBlood Beverage Exclusive
Personally it's not my cup of ... tea. But it looks like an energy drink so the youngsters might be more keen to chug it. Supposedly Tru Blood has an orange flavor. Maybe like sunkist or fanta? Read the taste test below.
Although with Halloween coming up, Tru Blood mixed with exotic (or not) liqueurs could be a party hit! Everyone would want to try it.
"Tru Blood" Taste Test
Apparently humans taste like very, very sweet candy. To be more specific we taste like incredibly super tart candy, like someone melted down the red Sour Patch Kids into a gooey syrup. I'm struggling to finish the whole test tube, but find it's easier when mixed with booze. It also packs a mean sugar rush about two minutes after drinking a little. If this is what vampires drink all day, sign me up. I love the idea of candy-flavored blood.
So in the end I recommend Tru Blood for people whose vampiric fang is also a sweet tooth. It's best served chilled and tastes better with vodka.
Will you try it?
Men of True Blood - NY Post
Don't look now Robert Pattinson, but Edward's title as Sexiest Vampire is bleeding out. But don't be too hard on your "Twilight" fangbearer, as one vampire proves to be no match for "True Blood's" clan of Sherriffs, Elders and Makers -- and that's without so much of a bite into the humans. What makes "True Blood" so addictive, you ask? We think it's this bloodlicious recipe: one scoop of Bill plus a double scoop of Eric with Jason on top makes for one sexy Sunday. Here are the hotties on HBO's "Blood" roster -- both dead and alive.
Eric Northman: Nordic Vampire, Sheriff of Area 5
Eric Northman's motives are rarely pure. And as an elder (a vampire 300 years of age or older), he knows how to get what he wants -- he can glamour the humans and overpower the younger vampires -- and right now, what he wants is leading lady Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin).
